Machine failed in warranty and then again out of warranty - same problem - excessive leaking. It was never properly fixed in the first place.

Just a constant argument with service staff - I am still pursuing the problem for principles sake. Every-time I approach their company, I have to go through the whole story again, and always have to go back to there contact page - they never leave a replying email. All responses are just glib, set replies - they actually don't ever listen. subsequently, they have errors on their transcripts - which I have told them about, but they ignore - they think "conveniently" that there are two problems, when in fact there has always been the same one.

They should have replaced the machine in the beginning instead of messing around - they now have my machine, but refuse to do anything, because they have evidence of insects .

But this have nothing to do with the problem, as any insects would due to it being storage away from the kitchen - the machine has a series leak and is an electrical shock risk. This battle has been going on now for a long time - and still no real or satisfactory solutions or offers - only glib and insulting statements like "Have a nice day" at the bottom of there emails.

Product or Service Mentioned: Nespresso Lattissima Plus Coffee Maker.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Company not standing behind there product.

Get a Tassimo - they are amazing!


They have, after a few years of trying to get Nespresso to resolve the issue, sent me a new machine. There was an admission by the company that there could have been a manufacturing problem with the machine - "Our repairs team did advise that the initial leaking infuser could have been due to a fault with the manufacture of the machine and due to the extensive wait you have experienced we would like to offer you a replacement machine."

So thank you Nespresso for finally doing the right thing.
