I've had mold growing twice. Customer service said they're unaware of that problem.
She offered to "sell" me a new canister. I told her I was going on line to see if this was an issue. Obviously it is.
Others have been complaining about this as well. Last thing I want to do is get sick.

We've been long-time loyal Nespresso customers. Their coffee prices have been steadily increasing while their customer service has been slipping.
From the time we placed our online order to when it was processed is over 48 hours. Additionally, the order hasn't shipped out yet when they say that it actually did, at least according to the tracking. It looks good, doesn't it, though? Anyway, Veho (slow) is used for the free and standard delivery services.
Expect a minimum of 5 to 6 days to receive your order, depending.
We squawked enough to Nespresso's lengthy live chat (probably based out of the USA - Philippines) session. They eked out a $20.00 future purchase credit.

We've been long time loyal Nespresso customers. Unfortunately, the customer service has deteriorated.
It's disappointing that you spend so much more money on good coffee. Their coffee prices have steadily been increasing while the time between actually placing the order is over 48 hrs., and then it ships out even after that. Expect receiving your order in a minimum of five to six days.
We asked for an order credit for future purchases. The live chat Nespresso people had offered a $20.00 credit.

March 11th, 2025, Nespresso allowed someone in Montreal to place nearly $400 worth of orders on my credit card. I have a recurring order that never deviates, and they didn't contact me when various random items, including a coffee machine, were ordered.
I have had to jump through numerous hoops to get this all sorted out, and Nespresso hasn't compensated me at all.
They merely locked me out of my own account. I will never do business with them again.

I have been dealing with my coffee machine for a long time. It won't open unless you do it in a specific awkward way, which is nonsense. This problem has persisted since purchasing this Vertuo machine. This is my second machine, as the first one stopped working altogether.
I called Customer Service, and they have the worst customer service. Their machines are of poor quality. They have been raising the cost of coffee by 60% and more.
Why would anyone need this, when the cost of a cup of coffee in a restaurant is $1.40? A pound of good quality coffee costs about $12.00 and it's enough for about 40 to 50 cups. A drip coffee machine costs much less, and one doesn't have to fight to open their Vertuo machine. Nespresso, you lack quality! You probably won't last for much longer. Why would anyone buy your expensive machine and coffee and deal with your customer service? So, screw you.

Verified ReviewerMy machine is 3 yrs old and has been a problem from the start. Recently it has become a major problem. I have spoken to customer service 4 time & did 4 different video live with them.
They could not fix the machine after all. The warranty is only for one year!
I bought mine in 2021. Now, I am forced to buy a new one with only a 35% discount. The warranty should be five years, like with other appliances, and if they can't fix it on the 4th try, then they should replace it with a minimum of 50% off plus overnight the new machine! I bought the same machine for my daughter in NY in 2020, and she has never had problems.
She maintains that when she's here, mine was a lemon from the beginning. First, it was super loud, then it stopped making coffee, so with customer service on video, I had to run different fixes and descale the machine. Then it started to sound like it was making coffee but didn't, then the last call today, I awoke to a flooded counter. So after four attempts to fix the machine, I was told it needed replacing!
Then I was gouged to pay $130, which included only a 35% off. It had better come with a frother! And I have to wait a week! So, I set it in a dish to protect my counter from the flooding.
Terrible one-year warranty, terrible price for a broken machine and terrible wait time! Shame on you, Nespresso!

The customer service sucks with a capital s. Especially in the Scottsdale az store.
Literally hate every aspect of that store from the entrance to the exit. The long delays

On my third Nespresso machine and it just stops working after six months
My third machine each one I've had after six months just quits working it just won't do anything I don't understand what I've gone through so many machines,
Their Software and Emails are Terrible
When you try to click on a special offer via email or software you get web page not available or it's in the German language. If you switch to English the offer no longer exists.
If you call Nespresso they blame it on you or your software. I have no trouble with anyone else. They advertise 10 offers on the top of their emails but you can't get to them. When you call they say they've expired.
FALSE ADVERTISING! This company is owned by the Swiss Co.
Nestlé.
SHAME ON YOU! Get your act together.

no one has contacted me.
It appeared I had a bad lot. I tried reaching them through chat. The person told me to hold for 3-4 minutes and had me waiting for over 20 minutes and stopped responding. I then called the customer service line where the first person told me that she would need to transfer me to a specialist.
I held for an additional 20 minutes to speak with Samoi. She informed me that she would need to video me in so that I can show her that the coffee was in fact dilute. I told her I was at the office and that the machine was at home. I asked her why the original person did not inform me that I needed to be near the machine and the pod to receive a refund or new sleeves.
She did not have an answer and told me I would need to call back. I asked her if we could set up a time so I didn't have to hold for such a long time and she said no. I'm not sure how Samoi thinks that she can tell a dilute coffee from a video. I know she cannot taste the coffee through the video.
The sleeves are $20 each and the pods make coffee that taste like hot water with a splash of coffee.
Nespresso needs to do better. I have been a loyal customer since 2018.

Nespresso never responded to me!
Instead of spending/wasting a lot of money on the commercial with George Clooney, and filling his pocket with the money he doesn't need and doesn't deserve, it would be much more graceful and honorable to spend that money on helping and improving/bettering farmers' life who grows the coffee for you!

Horrible and utter disregard for customers
I have been placing my orders via their app and most of the time they ship it in 10 days 10 days! I am besides myself that as well you cant get ahold of anyone !
Utter and complete lack of communication and disregard for their customers which they depend on. Dont bite the hand that feeds you is not something that crosses their mind it seems since no one is responding ever!!
Preferred solution: I’d like to be offended some kind of gift card or anything they never give their customers anything in place of them completely disregarding their customer needs!
